Shimenawa ∞ Project

Do you know why we prepare New Year's decorations (kadomatsu, shime-ornament, kagami-mochi) on New Year's Day?
New Year's Day in Japan is originally a traditional custom to invite the god of rice and good harvest, called the god of the year.
In the past, people used rice straw from harvested rice to make their own shimenawa ornaments.
Now that commercially available products are readily available, why not go back to the basics, make your own shimenawa, and decorate it for the New Year?
Please understand the original meaning of the New Year correctly, welcome the New Year, and have a good year.

【プログラム】
1、お正月講座（約50分）
2、しめ縄作り（約40~60分）
※プログラム全体で約60〜120分を予定しておりますが、対象や人数により変動いたします。

時間：16：00〜18：00（15：30受付）

費用：3,000円　小学生以下無料
※小学生以下のみのご参加はご遠慮ください。

・しめ縄キットは大人1名様につき、1つとなります。
・当日は汚れても良い、動きやすい服装でご参加ください。（スカート不可）
