We Japanese are on New Year's Eve

Pursed the yearly sins with "Oyakoi Otsuchi",

Six months from the beginning,

In the same way, after the "Summer Passion", which purifies guilt,

I'll be grateful for the past six months

To wish for further peace in half a year,

As a half-year milestone,

I will visit shrines and temples even after July 1st.

We call this new custom "Natsumochi",

To be a custom to defend Japan
