About Setsubun Festival Saisa Line

What is Setsubun?
"Setsubun" refers to the day before springtime. In the first place, the term Setsubun was not limited to just the beginning of spring, but was the day before the summer, the winter, the fall, which was the word that meant the milestone of the four seasons. In other words, Setsubun was four times a year. In the lunar calendar, because the beginning of the year the beginning of the year, this milestone has been particularly heavily used, and if we call it a sabe somewhat, it began to point to the day before the beginning of spring.
Setsubun will do events to excel disasters and evils, but the representative one is "bean maki". It is said that this year's event, pursuing the brewed soybean and purifying demons, while adopting the old man "Fuku inside, ogre is outside", adopted the custom of the Ming Dynasty period in the Muromachi era. In the past, it was one of the annual events in the Imperial Palace called "Maki (beaning)" "Okinawa (Okayurai)" bean maki.
